DFW HVAC companies drive. That is normal. Google still uses distance. The leak is claiming the entire metro on every page while the pack thinks you belong nowhere. Here is how to set service areas without looking like spam — especially in Fort Worth, where the city is already wide.
The listing and the site have to match
If GBP says Dallas and Plano but the homepage lists twelve cities and the trucks skip Plano in August, Google and customers both get a confused story. Pick the home market. Name extras once, clearly.
Fort Worth is the distance lesson
A north-side shop wanting south-side jobs has to earn relevance. Service area should include south Fort Worth if the trucks go there. A page should say AC repair in Fort Worth. A fake downtown pin should not.
When a city page is worth it
A Dallas HVAC page and a Fort Worth HVAC page can both exist if the copy is different: neighborhoods, distance, competition. A Plano page that is Dallas with the name swapped should not exist yet. NOBLE only ships city combinations with unique substance.
Citations
Directories that still list every suburb from a 2019 data scrape fight the listing. Clean the NAP conflicts you can. Do not buy 400 junk citations to “cover” cities you do not serve.
